Congratulations Canadian Lambda Finalists!

Congratulations to the sixteen Canadian authors who are finalists for Lambda Literary Awards this year!

Some Plenitude friends are on the list, too! This year’s Emerging Writer Mentorship Award mentor, Shani Mootoo, is a finalist in the transgender fiction category for Moving Forward Sideways Like a Crab. Issue 3 contributor Casey Plett is also a finalist in this category for her collection A Safe Girl to Love (reviewed by Amber Dawn in Plenitude). Elisha Lim, who created the beautiful cover for Issue 2, is a finalist in the LGBT graphic novel category for 100 Crushes. And web contributor Vivek Shraya is once again a Lambda finalist, this time for his novel She of the Mountains in the bisexual fiction category.
