Lucas Crawford is Canada Research Chair of Transgender Creativity and Mental Health at the University of Alberta (Augustana). This rural Nova Scotian has authored five books, including the Kroetsch Prize-winning Muster Points (U of Calgary, 2023). Lucas runs “Rewriting Ourselves,” a collaborative pilot project offering poetry workshops in four Alberta psychiatric wards.
Morgan Sea (Toronto, MFA OCAD 2021) is a Saskatchewanian illustrator, performer, and storyteller. She has created dozens of zines, comics, installations, and performances about trans life. CBC Arts commissioned her to create an avatar for use during Transgender Awareness Month (2018). The Museum of Transgender Hirstory and Art named Morgan “Unrecognized Artist of the Year” (2013).
